We couldn’t let Mother’s Day pass without adding another thing to the long list of things Moms do that deserve a big thanks. Dads do it, too. And so do brothers, sisters, friends and colleagues. Strangers do it. Really, just about everyone can Stop the Bleed. Less than one hour of training and you’re ready to go.

We couldn’t be more thrilled with the Stop the Bleed Scholarship Program. We’ve received over 1400 scholarship applications – high school student’s essays and videos answering the question of Why Stop the Bleed is important to them, their school and community. This overwhelming response has sent a resounding message – students are ready to take action to get ready and to be prepared in case tragedy strikes. The winners of the National Scholarships will be announced in 10 days on National Stop the Bleed Day. Applications for the National Scholarships are closed. Applications for the State Scholarships will be accepted until the end of May.
The Stop the Bleed Hackathon program has rocked it! Over 1000 teams competing for the best way to use technology to scale Stop the Bleed. The competition closes out this week and winners will be announced on National Stop the Bleed Day!
