This day has been a long time coming. The development of the STOP THE BLEED® Project has occurred over the past several years. What began as the National STOP THE BLEED® Day project has evolved into a multi-program effort that has been re-organized and renamed the STOP THE BLEED® Project.
It’s a fitting name as its clearly a big Project to develop meaningful programs that can enable and support the growth of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign.
As with any big Project, the work so far, and the work to come only happens due to the contributions of many individuals and organizations. That includes our generous supporters (link to page), the thousands of STOP THE BLEED® Ambassadors around the world, and the many partners we count on to help make our programs successful.
STOP THE BLEED® was the fastest growing campaign prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that it appears that the end of the pandemic is within sight, we expect the campaign to resume its growth. That makes this the perfect time to announce the launch of the Project and this year’s slate of programs.
