National STB Day is Here!

Well, today is the day! National STOP THE BLEED^® – something that the whole team has been in the planning for months!

It’s a big day in large part because we have so many announcements to make – twenty-one (21) STOP THE BLEED^® Scholarship recipients and five (5) STOP THE BLEED^® Training Kit Grant awardees – from all across the country. We’ve done a pretty good job of forecasting that we would be making these announcements – so only who they are is a secret.

However, we’ve kept one thing under wraps – our Top Secret, secret. Today marks the opening of the official STOP THE BLEED^® Gear Store! Now you can purchase STOP THE BLEED^® Swag to show your support of the campaign. There’s some pretty cool stuff available, so please check it out.

The many scholarship and grant announcements will be made across the day. We’ve been incredibly inspired by the thoughtfulness and creativity of the scholarship essays and videos. Students who would make any parent proud. Our judges had a very tough time selecting the recipients from a large group of very qualified applicants. The Training Kit Grant awardees are a group of organizations doing fantastic work in their communities by teaching STOP THE BLEED^® and we expect their grants will enable them to do even more. Local organizations and STOP THE BLEED^® instructors are the backbone of the campaign and we’re so thankful and appreciative of the good work that they do.

Despite the pandemic, the campaign continues to grow. While in-person training is currently suspended, we are looking forward to the lifting of that suspension soon and expect training to resume in a very robust manner.
