He did a full segment about Stop the Bleed on his show last November and has been tirelessly advocating since then for bystanders to become first responders (and that means everyone). We’re also thrilled to announce that the number of Stop the Bleed Scholarships have just doubled. Thanks to Z-Medica, LLC (maker of QuikClot) whose support will enable us to get scholarship money to 3 more students and Stop the Bleed Kits to 3 more schools.
The month of May is just around the corner and National Stop the Bleed Day is fast approaching. We continue to have more people (like Dr. Oz) and organizations (like Z-Medica) joining the cause – helping to create more awareness – so that more people will be able to Stop the Bleed.
Setting up a Bleeding Control Kit Drive is a fun way to for a community to rally together to support the important cause.
